Yscript Presents Research Results At 12th International mRNA Health Conference In Boston

At this year's International mRNA Health Conference in Boston from 12 to 14 November, Yscript project partners University of Aveiro and TRON Mainz will take the opportunity to present their research results in high-profile company. With over 900 participants, the event is the world's most important platform for experts from research and industry in the development and application of mRNA drugs.

The 2023 Nobel Laureates in Physiology or Medicine, Katalin Karikó and Drew Weissmann, awarded for their basic research on mRNA technology, will open the conference on 12 November with expert contributions on the ‘History of mRNA medicines’ and ‘Nucleoside-Modified mRNA-LNP Therapeutics’. Yscript will then have the honour of contributing its own work to the specialist discussion in the company of these highly respected experts and pioneers in the field of mRNA research:

On 12 November from 03:02 pm Tim Beissert, Head of Immune and Gene Therapy Development at TRON Mainz, will present his results in ‘Advancing the Trans-Amplifying RNA Vaccine Platform to Enhance Expression with Low Doses and Incorporate N1-Methylpseudouridine Modifications’.

On the same day, between 05:00 and 06:30 pm, Ana Marques, PhD student at the University of Aveiro, will participate in the poster session with odd-numbered posters. Her poster with the number 89 deals with the ‘Integrated process for the recovery and purification of recombinant messenger RNA vaccines resorting to ionic liquids’ developed in Yscript.
